Transformers 3

Yesterday we went and saw Transformers 3. It was good. I don't know why people talk so much crap on them. Yea, they do have some plot holes (like most everything else) and sometimes they are a bit cheesy. But over all I've really enjoyed them. One thing that really bummed me out was that Megan Fox wasn't in it. To me it just took away from the story. Like he said in the second one...they discovered an alien race together they'll be together forever (I don't know if that's exactly what he said but you know what I mean). Even if Megan Fox was being kind of a brat or whatever got her fired, I would of kept her just to help my show keep value. I mean it's not like you'd have to work with her forever. The other chick just seemed kind of out of place. Even though she does have an awesome talk with Megatron. I mean, she was alright, but Megan Fox would of been better (and I'm not really a huge Megan Fox fan). And they could of done pretty much everything they did with this chick with her too. Oh well I guess, too late now haha.

I also was a little bummed about other things in it, but I can't say them without major spoilers so...
I mean every show has good and bad parts. Still thought it was really good though. Bumble Bee is so hott! (yes I know he's a robot, still think what I think). And Optimus Prime is a close second. Woo!

Austin

Yesterday Austin flew into town!  He's going to be staying with us until we go to Utah in July...so for a little less than a month (that is unless he decides he wants to go home sooner haha).  Speaking of Utah, I'm sooo excited for that trip.  I want to see my nieces so bad.  I think I'm going to bring some nailpolish so we can do our nails :) 
My baby has been stuffed up.  She hasn't pooped for a day and a half.  I gave her prunes last night in hopes that may help, but so far nothing.  I also heard giving them water.  I have never really gotten her to drink water and I just fed her a bottle so I wanted to wait a little before trying it so her belly wasn't super full.  She hasn't really shown much discomfort yet.  And she has been "gassin' it" but no poopoo yet :(  I never thought I'd say I want her to go haha.

The Dollar Store

Sitting here bored and thought I'd write random thoughts on here.
My baby has officially grown out of her little baby swing we have for her.  I want to put it away, but I have been using it to throw all her baby toys in to get them off the floor when she's not sitting there playing.  So today Matt and I ran over to the dollar store to find a basket.  And there were quite a few to choose from.  We picked a pink and purple plastic woven one.  Takes up a lot less space than the swing haha.  This dollar store is probably the nicest one I have ever seen.  In Utah there used to be a decent one by the Wal-Mart.  My friends and I used to go in there and get airheads and suckers 10 for a dollar.  But it got bought out by the one that is there now.  I went in there with Austin last time I was out there and it's awful!  It had nothing.  But this one next to where Matt gets gas is nice.  It's called Just 99 I think.  It has food, cheap toys, and all kinds of cool stuff.  I may go get Sadie's birthday present there because they have a ton of fun Disney princess and Tinkerbell nik-naks.  Maybe I'll get another basket and fill it with fun things.  Saw today they had princess rings that were stamps. 
Today we bought our tickets to Utah.  We'll be there the 19-29th.  Kind of wish we could stay longer, but Matt has to work so.  And it also kind of sucks that we won't be getting in until 5PM.  The only other time was if we left the house at like 6 and that would mean being stuck in traffic :(  Oh well I guess.  I told Kim it would be kind of cool if we got in to Utah around the same time.  But than I don't know how we'd all get home haha.   So excited though!
Austin will be here Thursday.  I'm excited and nervous at the same time.  I'm sure it will be good. 
Well, I guess I'll go get little girl her lunch.  BYE!

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day (yesterday)!

First I wanna say Happy Father's Day to my awesome dad!  You are such a great dad.  You're funny and goofy but also firm when needed.  You have pretty much every talent known to man and it's not fair!  But you shine in all you do and I love you.

Than I want to say Happy First Father's Day to my wonderful husband!  You are the best dad and husband anyone could ask for.  You're sweet and funny (and of course sexy *wink*) and I couldn't imagine life without you.  I love you <3

Doctor's Appointment

Today Hailey had her 6 month check up.  Which, of course, means more shots.  I don't think they will ever get easier for me haha.  That and the lady took forever to get them over with.  My poor baby.  She handles them pretty well though.  Cries for a little bit and that's it. 
She weighs 18lbs 1oz and is 26 1/2 inches long.  The doctor said it was good the way she sits up so straight and can pull herself up.  I really like this doctor...she's really nice and good.  She's like Russian, it's kind of cool.  It was kind of odd...we were the first appointment of the day.  I don't think I've ever had that happen before. 
I was looking up tickets to fly to Utah, and they are $199 a piece.  Not bad, but I've seen better prices.  We may have to drive, but I really don't want to.  I wanted to stay a little over a week anyway and driving takes 2 days off the trip (for driving there and back).  That and we'll have Austin so it'll be a more crowded drive.  Our car is pretty small.  I guess we'll have to see how things go.
For some reason I'm really tired.  Going to go get ready for bed.

Swords are Awesome!

I'm just sitting here getting ready for bed since I got to get up pretty early to shower and what not since Hailey has a doctors appointment at 10 AM.  More shots for my baby...so sad :(

Matt and I went to the Japanese store today because last time we were there we found these awesome duel swords!  There was only one so I wanted to get them before someone else did because I don't know if she has more of them.  It's one of those stores where they have just random nic-naks from Japan.  I wouldn't mind a black one too, but this one is pretty.  It's gold and almost looks like scales on it

Not very good pictures I know.  I also got this set of mini swords.  I want the bigger ones too but gotta start your collection small right? haha.  The swords there aren't like "real swords" they are stainless steel I believe.  But you can't import the real thing into California.  I'd have to get it from somewhere else.  The stuff there is pretty cheap too.  Plus the lady there is our friend.  She gave us the duel sword ($25.99) and my mini swords ($30.00) for $50.  She asked if we had cash, and we didn't, so maybe she was going to give a bigger one, I don't know.  She's a way nice lady.  I saw that store before it was open and was soooo excited.  When it did open I went crazy looking at all the awesome stuff.  She found Hailey and fell in love haha.  She walked around the store holding her and playing with her.  She ended up giving us a free Hello Kitty squeaky toy for her.  I'm going to take Austin there when he gets here.

Speaking of which...Austin is officially coming to stay with us for about a month.  He flies in on June 23rd and goes back when we go to Utah to visit around July 20th.  It'll be intersting haha, but I think it will be fun.

Toothless

Today my baby is "officially" not toothless anymore.  Given it's just a tiny tiny spot in her mouth, but it is definatly there!  I found it this morning when she yawned.  There's a white spot on her gums.  So I felt for it and it's there.  Matt saw it too.  She makes it hard to see because she sticks out her tongue haha.  I'm going to miss my baby's toothless smile :(  I realized I don't have too many pictures of her smiles....she makes it hard to capture because when she smiles she usually flaps her arms around and looks down or sticks out her tongue.  I'll have to try to get some good ones before that tooth grows anymore.  I'm happy and sad at the same time about this.  My little baby is growing up so fast.  I know everyone says that's what happens, but you don't realize how fast until you experience it.  Which is funny because in the moment you think to yourself man hurry and get older.  She is my little buddy....but toothless no more (it may be little but I count it! haha)

6 Months

Today (well actually yesterday) my baby girl is half a year old!  Where did the time go? 

She cracks me up.  Right now she's into filling her cheeks with air and blowing it out one side of her mouth.  It looks and sounds so funny.  I also caught her rubbing her blankie under her nose the other day. So cute!

Now she sits up perfect.  She rarely falls over.  She loves sitting in her stroller and shopping carts like a big girl.  But man it's been hot lately so I usually put her in just a onesie....but she's pretty much outgrown them all.  I'm running out of clothes haha.  Good excuse to go shopping.  She also likes to grunt now...what a weirdo.  She may have been unexpected....but we sure do love her!  Sometimes it's still weird to me to think I have a child...but I enjoy every minute of it.

Reptile Friends and Foes

Last time we went to Petco we got a thing that said they were going to have a reptile thing today.  So we went, taking our lizard with us.  I knew it wouldn't be very big, because that Petco really isn't very popular, but man was it deserted.  They even have a kitten/dog adoption the same day.  I think Matt was kind of disappointed.  Everytime there has been a reptile expo by us, it gets canceled...don't know why.  We may have to take a trip down to San Diego to one.  We want to get another lizard, but not right now.  Maybe once we figure out some finacial stuff.  But man, we wanted to get one today.  They were having an awesome sale on them.  The bearded dragons were on sale for about $25.  The most lizards we've had at one time is 4.  They all slowly died off, which is upsetting.  And despite what you think it wasnt our care lol.  The first bearded dragon we got died of old age.  The first Uro to die got eaten by crickets...that's a story haha.  The second Uro died unknowingly.  He had something hard and weird in his stomach.  I wanted to know what it was, but Matt said he didn't have the heart to cut him open.  Than the other Bearded Dragon died of unknown causes.  We don't know if he got sick or what, he just stopped eating.  We'd give him lettuce and he wouldn't touch it.  Than we'd try to give him some meal worms and he wouldn't touch them.  Poor little lizards.  I will admit they're kind of cool.  Main thing I don't like is their poop.  It's a pain to clean and STINKS!  And makes the house stink also.   Plus the heat lamps help make upstairs very very hot in the summer...sometimes it even gets too hot for them. 
To top off the reptile day...Mia found a rattlesnake!  I'm not sure if she noticed it and knew it was bad and backed away, or just backed away when I opened the door.  We didn't hear it rattle until Matt walked over to see what she was barking at (we know she's found something when she barks because she is not a barker).  But whichever...good doggie Mia for finding the bad snake and not getting bit by it haha.  Of course Matt killed it.  Than he skinned it and we froze the meat.  He wanted to keep the head, but he accidentally ruined it in trying to kill it with the shovel.  I would say he'll get another chance...but I really hope not haha.

X-Men: First Class

Matt and I are trying to go out on a date just the two of us once a week.

Today we went and saw the new X-Men.  It was really good!  Much better than I thought it would be.  I was a little unsure if I wanted to see it, but I loved it.  I love when stories get explained.  Even though, of course, there are some plot holes (I think they are different directors).  Also went to Target and got some birthday cards.  Maybe birthday stuff this month will actually be on time *hoping*

Than we went and got an Oreo McFlurry...yum!

That's pretty much all we did today.  That and coming home to find that Mia had caught a squirrel!

Bored

Matt's out working with his dad, and probably won't be home until after 9 tonight.  I'm just sitting here waiting for it to be late enough to eat my oven pizza!  I really should wait at least another hour so I'm not hungry later haha.
Matt explained, and I agree, that an all only fruits and veggies diet isn't really realiztic.  We did buy a bunch of fruits and veggies, but we're not only eating that.  I will admit, I have been bad lately.  When we go to the mall we (more me) get "bad" food, and we went to the mall twice this week.  First we went to order my mom's birthday present, than we went back to just hang out and while we were in Claire's, Matt decided it was time for me to stop the talk and just buck up and do it...I got a second hole pierced in my ears.  I mean, if I don't like it I can always take it out.  The only thing that is weird right now is that sometimes the backs hit each other.  And it's harder for me to get my normal earings in without a mirror now haha. I guess it just throws me off. 
We also got the baby a walker.  I had a hard time deciding whether to get a walk or jumper, but the walker was $30 where the jumpers are....more haha.  Jumpers have more toys, but she can move in this and the toys on this actually come of and it's a tray where I can put food or different toys.  So I'm happy...even though it kind of boyish (got it over the pink one because it's more gender neutral in case we one day have a boy).  I'll have to take a picture of her in it. 
Man I've been spacey lately.  I didn't put anything for Matt's or my mom's birthday.  And it looks like I'll have to restart my computer cause it keeps lagging.  Sigh.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATT AND MOM AND D (MIKE).  Matt's mom took us out to Joe's Crab Shack for his birthday (a tradition).  We got the baby a Mia balloon (have to take a pic of that too before it pops).  There was this baby at the table right next to us, and they were reaching for each other, it was cute haha.  Until the other baby happened to scratch Hailey.  It was funny she cried than the other baby cried, than Hailey gave her a "that wasn't very nice" look haha.
I sent Mom a new Jazz shirt with the new colors.  I thought MAYBE the Fanzz here would have one, but they didn't, so they ordered it to us and just mailed it directly to her.  Totally forgot to get a card :(  Sorry Momma!
Well, I'm going to catch up my diary a little bit and try to remember to update this more often!  Adios
