Howdy Hoo!

Hello there.  Sitting here waiting for Hailey to go to sleep so I can do the dishes in peace.  Matt is at work until Midnight (weird hours huh?), so I'm pretty bored.
Nothing really new to update on.  Matt's been working a lot.  Hailey thinks the couch is the coolest thing ever and has claimed it as her own.  She gets on it by climbing about 3 stairs up and falling over the back.  She walks from one side to the other and lays on the pillows.  She takes her toys and junk up there too haha.
After almost 2 years, I finally beat The Legend of Zelda, Twilight Princess.  Why did it take so long?  In May of 2010, (so I was pregnant) I got really frustrated with the temple I was in and decided to take a break.  Every time I tried again I remembered the reason for my break and gave up again.  After a while you forget the tricks and what not so when I'd try to play again I'd get frustrated because I didn't remember how to do certain things.  But I finally did it!  2 days (really one if you add up play time) and 3 temples later I finished it!  Now to call Austin and tell him - since he's been bugging me about if for a while now.  Since Matt said I can't get the new Zelda game until I beat the old one haha.
I still have not missed a work out day, though I am getting sick of listening to the girl on the video.  It is a good workout, but she's so weird!  And I find myself getting jealous of Matt who goes to the gym or on a bike ride or hike with his best friend, child free, whenever he feels like it.  When I miss parts to grab the baby from doing something or when she sits on my during my crunches.  I know I know, part of being a mom.  And I really don't mind it most of the time, but some days it's just like "let me work out!" haha.
Trying to help Matt find a better job, but man is it not easy!  Everywhere we look is either not hiring, he doesn't qualify for, isn't any better of a job, or their website is being weird and won't let me look at any job listings even when it says there are some.   Anyone know anywhere?  Sometimes it is who you know, ya know? 
Guess I better get going on those dishes!  I didn't do any today so the sink is pretty full *cry*   Good night!

Halfway Through?!

It is really hard to believe that we are already almost done with January.  Where does time go?
How are you doing on your goals?  I've actually done better than I thought I would.  No McDonalds, no Coke (even though I wanted one bad when we were babysitting).  I've worked out at least every other day, working on every day.  According to my Wii (since that's the only scale I have) it says I'm down 1.1 lb!  Hey every little bit counts! 
Matt has also been to the gym at least every other day.  He's also eating better than me in general....but that's no surprise.
Tonight I think I'll try my luck at cooking a roast.  I've never cooked one before but I'm looking forward to it.  Wish me luck!
As far as my goal to get something off my bucket list....I don't think I'm doing too good at that one.  My guitar still needs to be tuned, and I need to go dig out my Japanese letter chart.  I do, however, have a couple nice Japanese people that would practice with me if I asked them.  I love the Tokyo store in the mall! As a matter of fact, Matt and I are going back there this weekend to hopefully get my star jar for my lucky stars I've made.  (if my favorite one is still there)
Hailey is still as cute as ever!  Shoe loving, climbing, dancing fool.  She loves her cartoons in the morning, and does pretty well without her binky during the day.  She has also learned to throw a mean fit.  It's funny to see sometimes (like when we're at home).

How are you doing?

It's been almost a week since New Years.  How are your goals going?  So far for me I've done pretty well.  I haven't had McDonalds once.  I think I've had one Coke. I've also been working out every other day like I said I wanted to do minimum. 
After going to the mall, I'm hoping I can stick on this goal!  I really want to lose weight and get down to how I used to be.  I think if I get on my weight now, I won't have to stuggle with the weight I would of gained.  And when/if I get pregnant again maybe it'll be easier to snap back.  Coping my sister, maybe if I flash some pictures of my old body I'll be motivated!

I probably have better pictures but I don't really wanna go looking right now *lazy*

Updates with Hailey...she's still as goofy as ever.  She likes to sit on this one toy she has like a bench and watch tv.  Now when she dances she stomps in a circle.  And she loves to play in her princess tent she got for Christmas (thanks Odette).
My (other) updates....I got my first pedicure ever about a week ago.  It was good even though I felt stupid for not being able to understand the lady.  Pretty much it for me haha
Matt updates....he started a YouTube channel called MrMuscleMatt (hehe).  He wants to start vlogging his weightloss journey.  No videos yet since I'm still working out the kinks with his channel page.  But, if only for fun, subcribe to him at https://www.youtube.com/mrmusclematt/ 
I've always wanted to vlog, even if just for updates for far away family, but I've never been able to figure out what to say haha. Maybe he'll be better at it than me :)

New Years

Welcome to 2012!  Make any goals for the year?  I'm going to try.
My fitness goal is to work out a minimum of every other day.  And I'm also going to try to not eat McDonalds for a month...than if I'm successful at that I'll go for the next month.
I also want to complete one of the items on my list of things I want to do before I die.  Whether it be learning to play an instrument, learning Japanese, or shooting a bow.
Family goal is to spend more time as a family, and also communicate with my whole family more.  I've learned over the years that family is important to me.
I also want to read more, but I haven't thought of an actual trackable part yet.  (as in like a book a month or something like that).
Personal goal is to take better care of myself...but that kind of ties into my fitness goal.  But little things, like hydrating my poor dry skin everyday, wash my face daily, remembering to brush and floss and all that jazz.  So I can look in the mirror and feel good about what I see. 

Matt's goal is to try to lose an average of 3lbs a week until he's under 200lbs.  He can probably do it.  He's a lot better at this goal stuff than me haha
