Back in the Barn

Well....we are back home today after driving all day yesterday.  Very sad.  I think I cried almost all the way home.  But we have a very good time.
I think we got to do everything we wanted..but I forgot to visit my grandma's grave :(   Matt got to eat at the places he loves that aren't here.  We went to a couple movies (True Grit and Tangled...which is WAY cute) with Dad.  Going to the mall with Mom is always fun, expecially when you get a chocolate icecream cone <3.  Of course, we also went to TGIFridays and got our cup of dirt.  I also got to catch up with an old friend who happened to be visiting home at the same time which was awesome.  Her little girl is so cute!  And I got to meet my new niece Arina, who is so adorable. Hailey also got to experience snow for the first time...though I doubt she'll remember haha.  Ruby also loved the baby...wouldn't leave her alone for a second.
Between helping Austin with Zelda, and Sonnie showing Hailey off at her work, I didn't want to come home.  It was probably the hardest time leaving I've ever had.  Wish I would of taken more pictures.  Oh well

Coming Up

Within the next couple of weeks, exciting things happen (well exciting for me)! A week from today is my doctors appointment! Now, I've never been excited for a dr. visit in my life...doctors scare me.  BUT! This visit will (hopefully) give me the clear to work out the way I want, and possibly get some pretty cool birth control.  Than the day after that we start our drive to Utah!  Not too excited about the drive, but very excited about the visit itself.  It'll be kind of weird to have to pack more stuff for someone else.  I even had a dream the other night that we went to Utah, and after we got there I realized I hadn't packed a single thing for the baby.  Guess I'll have to make a list to make sure I don't forget anything haha.  Than soon after we get back, Hailey has her 2 month doctors appointment.  It's kind of a reassurance when they say everything is ok haha. 
Hailey is still sleeping at night pretty well...so far haha.  I try to keep her up in the day as well as I can.  She's also started cooing and smiling more.  Everyone says she's gotten "so big" but to me she looks pretty much the same, but I guess the longest I've gone without seeing her is at night.  I did, however, clean out a small section of her drawer.  These cute little onsies are too small!  And she's getting too big for these cute little socks :(  Oh well, I'll just keep them for her maybe possible future little sister haha (that won't be for a whiiiile).

Well, I'm going to go put the pizza in the oven for dinner.  Oh and this post wouldn't be complete without a picture!

One Month Old

Today, Hailey is one month old!  It's kind of weird.  Almost like she knows it, she's been more smiley and cooey today than she ever has before.  I tried to get video, but it was with my cell phone and sucks.  That and my camera on it is so slow so I couldn't get any good smiley ones either.  I'll have to try again when she wakes up.  It's strange to think that the outfit she's in, she's almost too big for.  Her first outgrown outfit *tear*

Also official today, Matt asked for time off work so we could drive down to Utah! (No one tell Sonnie! We wanna try to surprise her)  We plan to leave Wednesday the 19th and stay till the next Thursday.  Now the time is going to go by so slow I know it!  I'm so excited.  I have this huge snowsuit someone gave her, and I want to put her in it and lay her in the snow...if there is still some there haha(I don't want to assume =P )
Well, I think I'm going to go make myself some lunch while she's sleep.  I also want to attempt to make some peanut butter cookies...wish me luck!
